Specifically for our customers in the Indian market, Movoice AI offers specialized Indian Server Routing to ensure the lowest possible latency and highest call quality for domestic operations.

Why it Matters

When a call is made within India, routing the audio data out to US or European servers and back can add 200-500ms of latency. This makes the conversation feel disjointed.

  1. Low Latency: By keeping data packets within Indian data centers (Mumbai/Delhi/Chennai), we achieve near-instant response times for Indian callers.
  2. Carrier Stability: Direct connections with Indian carriers (Jio, Airtel, Vi) via Exotel ensure fewer dropped calls and better audio clarity.
  3. Compliance: Keeps PII (Personally Identifiable Information) resident within Indian borders, complying with local data protection policies.

Enabling Local Routing

This feature is typically enabled by default for organizations using our Exotel integration. For Enterprise customers using custom SIP trunks, local routing can be configured in your Organization Settings.

You can verify your current routing path in the Engine Tab or by checking the “Hop Latency” metrics in your call logs.
