Agent Tab

The Agent Tab is the primary configuration area for your voice AI assistant’s basic identity and behavior.

Core Settings

1. Agent Name

Internal name for your reference. Use descriptive names like “Inbound Sales Rep - US”.

2. Language

The primary language the agent will use for speech recognition and generation. Choosing the correct language ensures the highest accuracy for ASR and the most natural prosody for TTS.

3. Agent Persona (Role)

This is where you define the overarching persona.
  • Example: “You are Sarah, a persistent but polite debt collector. Your goal is to negotiate a payment plan.”

4. Background Knowledge

Instruct the agent on what it should know about your business. You can provide text here or link to more complex data in the Knowledge Base.

5. Task Description

Clear, step-by-step instructions on what the agent should accomplish during the call.
  • Step 1: Intro and identification.
  • Step 2: Verify the recipient’s identity.
  • Step 3: State the purpose of the call.
  • Step 4: Collect required information.
  • Step 5: Close the call.

Quick Actions

  • Save: Persist your changes.
  • Test: Open the browser console to talk to this specific version of the agent.
  • Publish: Push changes live for phone-based calls.
